About
Who We Are
Subic Indigenous Peoples Assistance Group, Inc. (SIPAG) is a duly registered non-stock, non-profit organization in the Philippines. We work alongside the Ayta Magbukun indigenous community in the Subic region to protect ancestral lands, strengthen sustainable livelihoods, and preserve cultural heritage.
Our programs are designed in partnership with the community, respecting traditional knowledge and the principle of free, prior, and informed consent. SIPAG supports forest protection, livelihood training, cultural documentation, and community-led initiatives that align with the values and aspirations of the Ayta Magbukun people.
We believe that supporting indigenous communities in stewarding their ancestral domain benefits not only the community but also biodiversity, climate resilience, and the broader society. SIPAG is committed to transparency, accountability, and long-term partnership with the Ayta Magbukun.
